Ian Mein vs Joey Sconce

Boxing Daily Report from the Tasman Fighter’s promoted show at Townsville McClaren, Townsville,  taking place on 14/05/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Mein (4(3) - 2(1)) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Joey Sconce(0 - 1 - 1) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Mein and Sconce weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joel Boward, and the three ringside judges are Neil Cookston, Jonathan Neilson and Vincent Wathen.  

Round 1: 

Mein gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Mein clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Mein pushes his forearm into Sconce's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mein about fouling.  
Mein throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Mein ties up his opponent.  Mein uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Sconce's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mein walks Sconce onto the ropes.  Mein pivots to the left of his opponent.  Mein lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Mein ties up his opponent.  Mein is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mein lands a left hook.  
Mein lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Sconce gets on the inside.  Mein digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Mein lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mein drives a sharp left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Mein is looking to close the distance and forces Sconce to back into the ropes.  Mein lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Mein lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He then lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mein lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mein closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Mein ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Mein's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mein drives a firm left hook into Sconce's body.  
Sconce throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Mein drives a sharp left hook into his opponents liver.  
Mein advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Sconce quickly recovers. 
Mein lands a stinging cross.  
Sconce advances into close range and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Mein lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Mein advances into close range.  Mein pivots from in front of his opponent.  Sconce throws a left uppercut, but Mein holds on to his opponent.  Mein leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mein advances into close range and walks his opponent into the blue corner.  Mein digs in a firm right hook to Sconce's ribs.  
Mein is on target with a solid left hook.  Mein clinches his opponent.  Mein is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Mein uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Sconce behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mein.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Sconce's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Sconce's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Sconce's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Mein digs in a firm left hook to Sconce's body.  Mein throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mein digs in a right hook to Sconce's ribs.  
Mein is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Mein closes the distance.  Mein quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Mein steps inside and lands a powerful left hook.  SCONCE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Sconce almost instantly gets his legs back.

Mein lands a FEROCIOUS left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE SCONCE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sconce dabs at his face checking for damage.  
The right shot from Mein could be enough to force the stoppage!  Mein SLAMS a SAVAGE left uppercut into his opponents face.  SCONCE IS DOWN!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Mein!
