Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at Vitebsk CSK, Vitebsk,  taking place on 10/05/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Belarus-5, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Valeri Palko (6(3) - 0) who hails from Minsk, Belarus and Marjun Viera(19 - 12 - 6) from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic.  Both Palko and Viera weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Petro Taran, and the three ringside judges are Krystiyan Bondar, Kolzak Witko and Faddei Voloshin.  

Round 1: 

Palko is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Palko clinches his opponent.  Palko pushes his forearm into Viera's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Palko to stop fouling.

Palko is looking to close the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  Palko ties up his opponent.  Palko is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Palko's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Palko tries to land a jab, but Viera sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Palko advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Palko lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Viera quickly recovers. 
Palko walks Viera down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Palko lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.
