Mohsin Alshaykh vs Farhan Tamer

Boxing Daily Report from the Eck Promotions promoted show at Giza Marzouk, Giza,  taking place on 22/04/2042:

Clearly Eck Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Giza Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mohsin Alshaykh (4 - 7 - 2) who hails from Giza, Egypt and Farhan Tamer(6 - 25 - 4) from Giza, Egypt.  Both Alshaykh and Tamer weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Waleed Alawa, and the three ringside judges are Faisal Beydoun, Amjad Antar and Irfan Tolba.  

Round 1: 

Alshaykh is on target with a cross.  
Alshaykh closes the distance.  Tamer connects with a left hook.  
Tamer throws a right hook, but Alshaykh ties up his opponent.  Alshaykh leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Alshaykh is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Alshaykh's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Tamer hits home with a right hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Alshaykh dabs at his face checking for damage.

Alshaykh closes the distance.  Alshaykh sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Alshaykh lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Alshaykh holds on to his opponent.  Alshaykh throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Alshaykh leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Alshaykh tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Tamer behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
