Shamil Baguirov vs Amer Mourad

Boxing Daily Report from the Njoroge Promotions promoted show at Baku Mammadguliyev, Baku,  taking place on 21/04/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Azerbaijan-Absheron Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shamil Baguirov (21(17) - 3(3)) who hails from Sumqayit, Azerbaijan and Amer Mourad(14 - 19(6) - 1) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Baguirov weighed in at 154 pounds, while Mourad weighed in at 154 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bashir Amirbeyov, and the three ringside judges are Nariman Jafri, Israfil Hajiyev and Ahmed Beibutov.  

Round 1: 

Mourad walks Baguirov onto the ropes.  Baguirov is on target with a sharp cross.  
Baguirov steps to the outside and lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Mourad sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Baguirov lands a jab, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head.  
Mourad steps to the outside.  Baguirov feints a cross, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Baguirov feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Baguirov connects with a sharp left hook.  
Baguirov lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Mourad recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Baguirov throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Baguirov finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Baguirov sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Baguirov pivots to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Baguirov tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Baguirov senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Mourad and just needs the right shot.  Baguirov lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS MOURAD DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  Mourad now seems to have his senses back.  
Baguirov lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Baguirov lands with a hard jab.  
Baguirov lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND DROPS MOURAD!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Mourad recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Baguirov lands an overhand left.  
Baguirov lands a double jab to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mourad's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Mourad's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Mourad's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Baguirov DETONATES a SAVAGE cross on his opponents face.  MOURAD WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Mourad forces Baguirov to back into the ropes.  Mourad could be stopped here, if Baguirov can find the right shot!  Baguirov lands a cross, right uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, AND DROPS MOURAD!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Mourad now seems to have got his legs back.  
Mourad finds the target with a jab.  
Baguirov steps to the outside.  Baguirov feints a jab, and then hits home with a cross.  
Baguirov pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Baguirov lands a right hook to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Baguirov is on target with a hard jab.

Mourad is on target with a cross.  
Baguirov steps to the outside and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Baguirov switches the action to the outside and connects with a sharp cross.  
Baguirov steps to the outside.  Mourad throws an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Baguirov switches the action to the outside and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Baguirov lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.
