Daichi Shibata vs Takeo Taniguchi

Boxing Daily Report from the Katembula Promotions promoted show at Hamamatsu Sasaki, Hamamatsu,  taking place on 27/04/2042:

Clearly Katembula Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Shizuoka Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daichi Shibata (4 - 4 - 1(NC)) who hails from Shizuoka, Japan and Takeo Taniguchi(3 - 0) from Shizuoka, Japan.  Both Shibata and Taniguchi weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yuichi Koda, and the three ringside judges are Akira Sanda, Takeo Nishihara and Aki Isa.  

Round 1: 

Taniguchi steps inside and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Taniguchi advances into close range.  Taniguchi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Shibata switches the action to the outside and lands a cross.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Shibata.  That has caused a bad cut above.  
Taniguchi drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Shibata is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with an overhand left.  
Taniguchi lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Taniguchi closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Taniguchi digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  Taniguchi attempts to land a right hook, but Shibata blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.
