Joaquin Franco vs Franco Fidel

Boxing Daily Report from the Djan Promotions promoted show at Jose Sanchez Gym, Puebla,  taking place on 27/04/2042:

Clearly Djan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Puebla Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Franco (13 - 19(2) - 5) who hails from Puebla, Mexico and Franco Fidel(3 - 6(1)) from Puebla, Mexico.  Both Franco and Fidel weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Urvano Barraza, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Chavis, Senon Simeon and Miguel Ruis.  

Round 1: 

Fidel pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a cross.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Fidel dabs at his face checking for damage.  Fidel has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
