Clinton Akabusi vs Sone Ashafa

Boxing Daily Report from the Ofosu-Ayeh Promotions promoted show at Vince Datong Gym, Kano,  taking place on 30/04/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kano State Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Clinton Akabusi (5 - 7) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Sone Ashafa(1 - 0) from Kano, Nigeria.  Akabusi weighed in at 135 pounds, while Ashafa weighed in at 134 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lukman Aderemi, and the three ringside judges are Rashid Nazimuddin, Rehan Pasha and Juwon Adesoji.  

Round 1: 

Ashafa walks Akabusi down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ashafa lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.

Ashafa steps inside and drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Akabusi throws a right uppercut, but Ashafa clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
