Ron MacNeill vs Vincent Boyle

Boxing Daily Report from the Adams Promotions promoted show at Lincoln MacCallum, Lincoln,  taking place on 04/05/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Nebraska Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ron MacNeill (15(9) - 3(1)) who hails from Lincoln, USA and Vincent Boyle(8 - 13 - 3) from Omaha, USA.  Both MacNeill and Boyle weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mike Spence, and the three ringside judges are John Murray, Kris Clingan and Robert Coupland.  

Round 1: 

MacNeill connects with a cross.  
Boyle advances into close range.  MacNeill lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Boyle is on target with a jab.  
MacNeill feints a cross, and then lands with a stiff jab.  
MacNeill closes the distance and is on target with a right uppercut.  MacNeill ties up his opponent.  Boyle leans on his opponent using all his weight. MacNeill pushes his forearm into Boyle's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns MacNeill to stop fouling.  
MacNeill throws a right uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  MacNeill holds on to his opponent.  MacNeill is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
MacNeill lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
MacNeill is on target with a solid cross.  
Boyle quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  MacNeill connects with a stinging right uppercut.  
MacNeill lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
MacNeill lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
MacNeill lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Boyle hits home with a left hook.  
MacNeill lands a solid right hook.  
Boyle steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping MacNeill on the ropes.  MacNeill lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  MacNeill ties up his opponent.  MacNeill is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. MacNeill uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Boyle behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures MacNeill about fouling.  
MacNeill connects with a left uppercut.  MacNeill clinches his opponent.  MacNeill leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
MacNeill lands a right hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
MacNeill walks Boyle down, trapping him on the ropes.  MacNeill lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
MacNeill is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  
MacNeill lands a firm cross.  
MacNeill hits home with a solid right uppercut.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Boyle dabs at his face checking for damage.

MacNeill lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Boyle's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Boyle's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

MacNeill gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
MacNeill is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
MacNeill advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
MacNeill is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Boyle steps inside.  MacNeill lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.

That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

MacNeill knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  MacNeill lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head, KNOCKING BOYLE DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Boyle cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is MacNeill!
