Lisandro Arce vs Bryn Menzies

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Baja California promoted show at Tijuana Urda, Tijuana,  taking place on 27/05/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lisandro Arce (27(24) - 0) who hails from Tlaquepaque, Mexico and Bryn Menzies(0 - 6 - 1) from New York City, USA.  Arce weighed in at 200 pounds, while Menzies weighed in at 199 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jeraldo Toribio, and the three ringside judges are Porfio Rodriguez, Jeraldo Toribio and Reynaldo Castano.  

Round 1: 

Arce closes the distance and is on target with a stinging left hook to Menzies's body.

Arce steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Arce holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Arce pushes his forearm into Menzies's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Arce about fouling.  
Arce lands a hurtful right uppercut.  MENZIES WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Menzies almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Arce closes the distance.  Arce quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Arce advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Arce clinches his opponent.  Arce leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Menzies almost instantly recovers. 
Arce lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Arce digs in a right hook to Menzies's body.  
Arce throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Arce ties up his opponent.  Arce pushes his forearm into Menzies's face.  The referee warns Arce and breaks the clinch.  
Arce lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Arce steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Arce lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Arce lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Arce walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Arce lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Arce connects with a sharp right hook.  
Arce lands a left uppercut to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
Arce lands a solid left hook.  
Arce gets on the inside and walks Menzies down, trapping him in a corner.  Arce lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Arce is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Arce lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body, AND KNOCKS MENZIES DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Menzies has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Menzies's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Menzies's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Arce knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Arce lands a SAVAGE left uppercut.  DOWN GOES MENZIES!  HE TRIES TO RISE BUT HIS LEGS DONT RESPOND...THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Arce!
