David Huggett vs Bob Ridpath

Boxing Daily Report from the Zekerton promoted show at Dallas Reuben, Dallas,  taking place on 06/05/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Texas Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Huggett (7 - 10 - 3) who hails from San Antonio, USA and Bob Ridpath(32 - 22(3) - 4) from Dallas, USA.  Both Huggett and Ridpath weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Justin Clogston, and the three ringside judges are Stuart Ferrera, Brett Straney and Max Mabon.  

Round 1: 

Huggett advances into close range and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Ridpath steps to the outside.  Ridpath sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Ridpath steps away from his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Ridpath lands a cross.  
Huggett feints a right hook, and then finds the target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Huggett's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Ridpath's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
