Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Virginia promoted show at Richmond Rees, Richmond,  taking place on 06/05/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Virginia Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dai Barrett (2 - 4(1) - 4) who hails from Richmond, USA and Harvey Proudfoot(18 - 24(2) - 2) from Virginia Beach, USA.  Both Barrett and Proudfoot weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dan Whalen, and the three ringside judges are Justin Morgan, Dan Whalen and Mason Mundie.  

Round 1: 

Proudfoot connects with a left hook.  
Proudfoot closes the distance and lands a right uppercut.  
Proudfoot pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Proudfoot connects with a cross.  
Barrett is on target with an overhand right.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Barrett dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Barrett tries to land a jab, but Proudfoot sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Proudfoot gets on the inside.  Barrett lands a solid left hook.
