Arran Jones vs Jake Troup

Boxing Daily Report from the Dayo Olatunbosun promoted show at Ontario Crossen, Ontario,  taking place on 06/05/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Pacific Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Arran Jones (30 - 18(8) - 2) who hails from Long Beach, USA and Jake Troup(21 - 5(3)) from Seattle, USA.  Both Jones and Troup weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Rielly, and the three ringside judges are Cris Garcia, Kieran Farm and Peter Spang.  

Round 1: 

Troup advances into close range.  Jones throws a right hook, but Troup holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Jones pushes his forearm into Troup's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Troup forces Jones to retreat onto the ropes.  Troup lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Troup lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Troup is on target with a left hook to Jones's body.  Troup throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Troup gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook.  
Troup lands a right hook.  
Troup advances into close range and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Troup sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Jones throws a right uppercut, but Troup clinches his opponent.  Troup pushes his forearm into Jones's face.  The ref breaks Troup's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Troup lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Troup gets on the inside and lands a solid right hook.  Troup clinches his opponent.  Troup pushes his forearm into Jones's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Troup.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Troup dabs at his face checking for damage.
