Chris Usher vs John Athans

Boxing Daily Report from the Punch Drunk Promotions promoted show at Adelaide Arena, Adelaide,  taking place on 17/05/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Chris Usher (19(16) - 2 - 2) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and John Athans(17(6) - 4) from Geelong, Australia.  Both Usher and Athans weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kian Roland, and the three ringside judges are Bryn Callahan, Steven Kavanah and Tariq Hasain.
