Yavuz Arikan vs MatyßÜ Belka

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at RheinEnergieStadium, Cologne,  taking place on 03/05/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sport Deutschland, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Yavuz Arikan (0 - 0) who hails from Ankara, Turkey and MatyßÜ Belka(1 - 1) from Prague, Czech Republic.  Both Arikan and Belka weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Werner Arn, and the three ringside judges are William Piel, Arnold Joel and Koby Schabacker.  

Round 1: 

Arikan is looking to close the distance.  Arikan lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Belka dabs at his face checking for damage.

Belka tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  It looks like Belka has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Arikan is looking to close the distance.  Belka throws a right uppercut, but Arikan holds on to his opponent.  Arikan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Arikan about fouling.  
Arikan feints a jab, tricking Belka into launching a right hook counter.  Arikan springs the trap, countering with  a solid cross.  
Belka is on target with a cross.  
Arikan is looking to close the distance.  Belka attempts to land a left uppercut, but Arikan sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Arikan lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Arikan is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Belka hits home with a cross.  
Arikan lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Arikan gets on the inside.  Belka is on target with a right hook.  Arikan holds on to his opponent.  Arikan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Arikan lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Belka almost instantly recovers. 
Arikan lands a jab to the head, a cross to the head and a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Arikan is looking to close the distance.  Arikan thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Belka away.  Arikan lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  He then lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  Belka now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Belka sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Arikan is on target with a firm cross.  
Arikan lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Arikan is on target with a hurtful cross.  BELKA IS HURT!  Belka quickly recovers. 
Belka walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Belka lands a cross.  
Arikan advances into close range.  Belka pivots to the right of his opponent.  Belka throws a left uppercut, but Arikan holds on to his opponent.  Arikan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Belka's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Belka's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Arikan is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND KNOCKS BELKA DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Arikan lands a firm cross.  
Belka steps to the outside and tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm right hook to Belka's ribcage.  
Belka quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Arikan lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Arikan gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Belka attempts to land a left hook, but Arikan slips the shot and counters with a MASSIVE left hook.  BELKA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Arikan stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Arikan lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS BELKA TO THE CANVAS!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Arikan!
