Steven Tolmie vs Tobias Lyon

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Casino Miami Jai Alai, Miami,  taking place on 14/06/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Steven Tolmie (16(5) - 1(1)) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Tobias Lyon(19 - 17(2) - 5) from Colorado Springs, USA.  Tolmie weighed in at 168 pounds, while Lyon weighed in at 167 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Johnstone, and the three ringside judges are Xaverius Vea, David Carias and Elliot Balderas.  

Round 1: 

Tolmie is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Tolmie holds on to his opponent.  Tolmie tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Lyon's kidney. Tolmie is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Tolmie and breaks the clinch.  
Lyon steps to the outside.  Tolmie lands a firm cross.  
Lyon is looking to keep his distance.  Tolmie lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Tolmie gets on the inside and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Tolmie clinches his opponent.  Tolmie is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Lyon tries to step out of his opponents range.  Tolmie lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Tolmie gets on the inside and digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  Tolmie ties up his opponent.  Tolmie leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Tolmie sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a solid right hook.  
Tolmie lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Tolmie lands with a stinging jab.  
Lyon switches the action to the outside.  Tolmie lands an overhand right, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  
Tolmie is looking to close the distance and connects with a sharp right hook.

Lyon switches the action to the outside.  Tolmie lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Tolmie gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Tolmie holds on to his opponent.  Tolmie leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Lyon pivots to the left of his opponent.  Lyon throws a right hook, but Tolmie holds on to his opponent.  Tolmie leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Tolmie tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Lyon's kidney. 
Tolmie slams a hurtful right hook into his opponents body.  LYON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Tolmie ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Tolmie pushes his forearm into Lyon's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Tolmie.  
Lyon now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Tolmie steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Lyon in the corner.  Tolmie drives a left uppercut into Lyon's body.  
Tolmie lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Tolmie connects with a sharp right hook.  Tolmie holds on to his opponent.  Tolmie tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Lyon behind the head. 
Tolmie lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lyon's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Lyon's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Lyon's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Tolmie gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Tolmie wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Lyon has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Lyon tries to step out of his opponents range.  Tolmie lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Lyon switches the action to the outside.  Tolmie is on target with a solid overhand right.  
Tolmie is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.  Tolmie ties up his opponent.  Tolmie leans on his opponent using all his weight. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Tolmie to stop holding.  
Tolmie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Tolmie advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Lyon almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Tolmie connects with a right hook.  
Tolmie pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Tolmie is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Lyon recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Tolmie connects with a firm right hook.  
Tolmie lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Tolmie thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Lyon away.  Tolmie lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS LYON!  He manages to get up at 6.  It looks like Lyon has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Tolmie is on target with a right hook.  
Tolmie lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Tolmie lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND LYON IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Tolmie!
