Voshon Kotei vs Ian Appiah

Boxing Daily Report from the Selasee Promotions promoted show at Accra Omaboe, Accra,  taking place on 16/05/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Voshon Kotei (6 - 3 - 2) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Ian Appiah(14 - 8(4) - 1) from Accra, Ghana.  Kotei weighed in at 154 pounds, while Appiah weighed in at 153 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Akuffo, and the three ringside judges are Shevon Adusei, Kabonesa Kotei and Quintavius Akrobettoe.  

Round 1: 

Appiah is looking to close the distance.  Appiah pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a right hook.
