Elliot Geddes vs Rob Ashland

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Cairns Storer, Cairns,  taking place on 18/05/2042:

Clearly Gold Coast Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Elliot Geddes (3 - 5(1)) who hails from Sunshine Coast, Australia and Rob Ashland(2 - 3) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Geddes and Ashland weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Glynn Profit, and the three ringside judges are Stuart Gowan, Neil Pembroke and Leon Kellar.  

Round 1: 

Ashland advances into close range.  Ashland quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Geddes attempts to land a left hook, but Ashland slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Ashland sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Geddes throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Ashland advances into close range and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.
