Travis Mellett vs Richie Algee

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Quebec promoted show at Montreal Lafon, Montreal,  taking place on 01/05/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Travis Mellett (1 - 0) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Richie Algee(1 - 0) from Toronto, Canada.  Both Mellett and Algee weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Prewitt Gedeon, and the three ringside judges are Neville Bazil, Elliot Girardot and Carvell Brame.  

Round 1: 

Mellett steps inside and throws a left hook, but is not on target.  Mellett clinches his opponent.  Mellett throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mellett to stop fouling.  
Algee switches the action to the outside.  Mellett strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Mellett lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Mellett holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Mellett pushes his forearm into Algee's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Algee attempts to land a right hook, but Mellett blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Mellett gets on the inside and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Mellett hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Mellett is on target with a jab.  
Algee tries to step out of his opponents range.  Mellett hits home with a stinging cross.  
Mellett steps inside.  Mellett pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Mellett throws a left uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Mellett holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Mellett pushes his forearm into Algee's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mellett is on target with a right hook to Algee's body.  Mellett ties up his opponent.  Algee uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Mellett behind the head.

Mellett closes the distance and forces Algee to back into the ropes.  Mellett lands a left uppercut.  Mellett throws a right uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.
