Geron Benichou vs Lance Machin

Boxing Daily Report from the Dorian MMABO promoted show at Charleroi Orange, Charleroi,  taking place on 18/05/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Belgium-Wallonia Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Geron Benichou (12 - 15(2) - 3) who hails from Charleroi, Belgium and Lance Machin(12 - 7(1) - 1) from Charleroi, Belgium.  Benichou weighed in at 140 pounds, while Machin weighed in at 140 pounds and 10 ounces.    As Machin came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Jeremie Roussel, and the three ringside judges are Merrill Baudhuin, Glanville Barse and Marin Desailly.  

Round 1: 

Machin closes the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Machin holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Machin pushes his forearm into Benichou's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Benichou retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Machin tries to tag Benichou on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Machin lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Machin advances into close range.  Machin pivots to the right of his opponent.  Benichou throws a right uppercut, but Machin clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Machin pushes his forearm into Benichou's face.  The ref breaks Machin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Machin lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  Machin clinches his opponent.  Machin pushes his forearm into Benichou's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
