Xalvador Valeriano vs John Grieve

Boxing Daily Report from the Ognjen promoted show at Chumash Casino, Bakersfield,  taking place on 06/05/2042:

Clearly Ognjen have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Xalvador Valeriano (3(3) - 0) who hails from Torreon, Mexico and John Grieve(0 - 1 - 2) from Lexington, USA.  Both Valeriano and Grieve weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oscar Hall, and the three ringside judges are David Evans, Darryl Bruce and Chris Morgan.  

Round 1: 

Valeriano closes the distance and drives a right hook into Grieve's body.  Valeriano ties up his opponent.  Valeriano is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Valeriano and breaks the clinch.

Grieve is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Valeriano lands a stinging cross.  
Valeriano closes the distance and digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.

Valeriano sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Valeriano is looking to close the distance and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Valeriano closes the distance.  Grieve throws a left hook, but Valeriano ties up his opponent.  Valeriano leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.

Valeriano manages to force Grieve into a corner.  Valeriano DETONATES a mean left uppercut on his opponents face.  GRIEVE HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.
