Mark Monteith vs John Tod

Boxing Daily Report from the Namugerwa Promotions promoted show at Oliver Benichou Gym, Edmonton,  taking place on 19/05/2042:

Clearly Namugerwa Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Monteith (13 - 20(2)) who hails from Calgary, Canada and John Tod(3 - 13(1) - 1) from Edmonton, Canada.  Both Monteith and Tod weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Connor Bonnie, and the three ringside judges are Wayne Gall, Robert Mower and Joe Dinwiddie.  

Round 1: 

Tod closes the distance and walks Monteith down, trapping him on the ropes.  Monteith hits home with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Monteith's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Monteith's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Tod's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Tod advances into close range.  Monteith lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
