Santiago Varon vs Porfio Ahumada

Boxing Daily Report from the Sucre Promotions promoted show at Guayaquil Romero, Guayaquil,  taking place on 22/05/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Guayas Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Varon (42(24) - 13(8) - 2) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Porfio Ahumada(24 - 24(5) - 7) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Both Varon and Ahumada weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sagaz Ancheta, and the three ringside judges are Roman Parrilla, Santiago Andrada and Felippe Manco.  

Round 1: 

Varon advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ahumada throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Ahumada's ribcage.  
Varon pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Varon sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ahumada throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.
