Malik Rayes vs Azam Aljazari

Boxing Daily Report from the Yarjanyan Promotions promoted show at Atif Wassan Gym, Alexandria,  taking place on 23/05/2042:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Alexandria Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Malik Rayes (5 - 6(2) - 2) who hails from Alexandria, Egypt and Azam Aljazari(6 - 6 - 2) from Alexandria, Egypt.  Both Rayes and Aljazari weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Asif Meshaal, and the three ringside judges are Amer Qazi, Yasin Eldegheidy and Jawad Arafat.  

Round 1: 

Aljazari is looking to close the distance.  Rayes digs in a left hook to Aljazari's ribs.  As Aljazari tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Rayes.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
