Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-West Bengal promoted show at Howrah Ratanpuri, Howrah,  taking place on 26/05/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-West Bengal Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kalidas Nallakannu (17(16) - 7(4)) who hails from Kolkata, India and Ananth Batra(19 - 18(1) - 3) from Kolkata, India.  Nallakannu weighed in at 147 pounds, while Batra weighed in at 146 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Adnan Mirza, and the three ringside judges are Devdas Bahri, Haaris Haik and Gurudas Tewari.

Batra is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but Nallakannu clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Batra pushes his forearm into Nallakannu's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
