Guido Pedro vs Sagaz Pereida

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Cortes promoted show at Gimnasio Las Palma, San Pedro Sula,  taking place on 27/05/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Honduras-Cortes Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Guido Pedro (22(15) - 8(6)) who hails from Choloma, Honduras and Sagaz Pereida(3 - 13(3)) from Choloma, Honduras.  Pedro weighed in at 160 pounds, while Pereida weighed in at 159 pounds And 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cipriano Lanza, and the three ringside judges are Iago Feliz, Ora Zaragosa and Vicente Mieras.  

Round 1: 

Pereida is on target with an overhand right.  
Pedro steps inside and lands a right hook.  Pedro clinches his opponent.  Pedro pushes his forearm into Pereida's face.  The referee warns Pedro and breaks the clinch.  
Pereida tries to step out of his opponents range.  Pedro drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Pereida throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Pedro steps inside and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Pedro gets on the inside.  Pedro sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Pedro advances into close range.  Pedro sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Pereida throws a right hook, but Pedro clinches his opponent.  Pedro leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Pedro digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Pedro holds on to his opponent.  Pedro is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Pedro's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Pedro lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Pedro manouvers Pereida into the red corner.  Pedro drives a firm right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Pedro lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Pedro forces Pereida to retreat onto the ropes.  Pedro lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Pedro ties up his opponent.  Pedro is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Pedro's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Pedro drives a left hook into Pereida's body.  
Pedro gets on the inside and drives a stinging left hook into Pereida's body.  
Pedro lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Pereida could be stopped here, if Pedro can find the right shot!  Pedro lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS PEREIDA DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Pedro lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND PEREIDA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Pedro tries to keep the action at long range.  Pedro lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS PEREIDA TO THE CANVAS!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Pereida can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Pedro!
