Charlie Canino vs Tommy Lipton

Boxing Daily Report from the Tambo Promotions promoted show at Temple University McGonigle Hall, Philadelphia,  taking place on 09/06/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are California Cannon Charlie Canino (12(12) - 0) who hails from San Francisco, USA and Tommy Lipton(10 - 4 - 2) from Virginia Beach, USA.  Both Canino and Lipton weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Doig, and the three ringside judges are Declan Forbes, Elliot Gambini and John Paille.  

Round 1: 

Canino advances into close range and connects with a right hook.  
Canino lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Canino lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Canino lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Lipton connects with a left hook.  
Canino throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Canino clinches his opponent.  Canino is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Canino circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Lipton tries to land a cross, but Canino slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Canino is on target with a firm left hook.  Canino ties up his opponent.  Canino is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Lipton throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  Canino ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Canino pushes his forearm into Lipton's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Canino about fouling.  
Canino hits home with a firm left hook.  Canino holds on to his opponent.  Canino leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Canino's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Canino gets on the inside and walks Lipton into a corner.  Canino lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Canino throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Canino holds on to his opponent.  Canino is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Canino.  
Canino throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Canino hits home with a firm left hook.  
Canino feints a cross, and then hits home with a sharp cross.  
Canino lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Canino lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Lipton almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Canino manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  Canino lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Lipton could be stopped here, if Canino can find the right shot!  Canino lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  It looks like Lipton has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Canino is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Canino digs in a stinging left hook to Lipton's ribs.  
Canino lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Lipton quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lipton's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Lipton's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Lipton's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Lipton is looking to close the distance.  Lipton sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Canino is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Lipton throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid left hook to Lipton's liver.  
Canino advances into close range.  Lipton tries to land a left hook, but Canino slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Lipton pivots from in front of his opponent.  Canino digs in a left hook to Lipton's body.  
Canino lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head, AND LIPTON IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  Lipton recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Canino lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Canino forces Lipton to retreat onto the ropes.  Canino lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
Canino lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Canino lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Canino gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Canino lands two jab's to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Canino lands two straights to the body, and one to the head, DROPPING LIPTON TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Canino!
