Juan Mascarenas vs Bryn Sablay

Boxing Daily Report from the Dauda Promotions promoted show at San Pedro Gutierrez, San Pedro,  taking place on 01/06/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Laguna Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Mascarenas (5 - 16 - 2) who hails from Santa Rosa, Philippines and Bryn Sablay(5 - 4 - 3) from Cabuyao, Philippines.  Both Mascarenas and Sablay weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cruz Borbon, and the three ringside judges are Ulises Puruganan, Gethin Malpaya and Orlando Arrendondo.  

Round 1: 

Sablay pivots to the right of his opponent.  Mascarenas tries to land a right hook, but Sablay blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Mascarenas gets on the inside.  Mascarenas sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.

Sablay drives a left uppercut into Mascarenas's liver.

Sablay digs in a left uppercut to Mascarenas's body.

Sablay steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Mascarenas in the red corner.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sablay dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Sablay is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a left hook, but Mascarenas blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Sablay advances into close range.  As Mascarenas tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sablay dabs at his face checking for damage.
