Sid McGuire vs John Ruane

Boxing Daily Report from the itsthatguy20 promoted show at Worcester Zaccheo, Worcester,  taking place on 06/06/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Massachusetts Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sid McGuire (16(4) - 5(3) - 1) who hails from Boston, USA and John Ruane(10 - 7 - 1) from Boston, USA.  Both McGuire and Ruane weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charles Keath, and the three ringside judges are Hassan Quadri, Hugh Hier and Alexander McPhatter.  

Round 1: 

Ruane steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a cross, but McGuire sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.  
McGuire is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
McGuire lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
McGuire tries to land a jab, but Ruane blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Ruane pivots to the side of his opponent.  McGuire digs in a firm right hook to Ruane's ribs.  McGuire tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
McGuire hits home with a right uppercut.  McGuire ties up his opponent.  McGuire is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McGuire lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
McGuire lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  McGuire ties up his opponent.  McGuire tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Ruane behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns McGuire.  
McGuire steps inside.  McGuire pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
McGuire sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  McGuire lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  McGuire ties up his opponent.  McGuire leans on his opponent using all his weight. McGuire pushes his forearm into Ruane's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
McGuire lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  McGuire holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, McGuire pushes his forearm into Ruane's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns McGuire to stop fouling.  
McGuire is on target with a right hook.  McGuire clinches his opponent.  McGuire leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
