Rex Soulis vs Davie Patteson

Boxing Daily Report from the Paradoxia promoted show at Anchorage Bise, Anchorage,  taking place on 06/06/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mountain West Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rex Soulis (12 - 1) who hails from Anchorage, USA and Davie Patteson(8 - 8(2) - 3) from Salt Lake City, USA.  Soulis weighed in at 200 pounds, while Patteson weighed in at 199 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Harvey Blair, and the three ringside judges are Felix Campbell, Harvey Blair and Joe Routledge.  

Round 1: 

Soulis advances into close range.  Soulis voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Patteson accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Soulis.
