Mikio Machida vs Hideki Yamamura

Boxing Daily Report from the Japanese Boxing Federation promoted show at Tokyo Matsuo, Tokyo,  taking place on 06/06/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Tokyo Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mikio Machida (10 - 8(1) - 5) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Hideki Yamamura(4(3) - 1) from Machida, Japan.  Both Machida and Yamamura weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ichiro Tsukamoto, and the three ringside judges are Kyo Arima, Hisoka Enomoto and Kazuhiko Nakano.  

Round 1: 

Yamamura steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Machida quickly recovers. 
Machida steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a jab, but Yamamura sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Machida throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Yamamura manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Machida hits home with a right hook.  
Yamamura pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  
Yamamura drives a solid right uppercut into Machida's ribs.  Yamamura tries to land a left hook, but Machida slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Yamamura gets on the inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Yamamura steps inside and drives a left uppercut into Machida's body.  Yamamura clinches his opponent.  Yamamura is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Yamamura and breaks the clinch.  
Yamamura steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Machida quickly recovers. 
Yamamura is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Yamamura quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Yamamura lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS MACHIDA DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Machida almost instantly recovers. 
Yamamura lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Yamamura lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Yamamura is on target with a solid left hook.  
Yamamura steps inside.  Yamamura pivots from in front of his opponent.  Yamamura lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  Yamamura ties up his opponent.  Yamamura uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Machida behind the head. 
Yamamura sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Machida is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Machida is on target with a cross.  
Yamamura manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Yamamura lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Yamamura ties up his opponent.  Yamamura is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Yamamura steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Machida recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Yamamura lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Machida is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Machida's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Machida's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Yamamura gets on the inside and drives a firm left hook into Machida's ribs.  Yamamura holds on to his opponent.  Yamamura leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Yamamura digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents ribs.  Yamamura clinches his opponent.  Yamamura uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Machida's kidney. Yamamura throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Yamamura tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Machida tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a cross.  
Yamamura advances into close range and digs in a solid left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Yamamura throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Yamamura is looking to close the distance and walks Machida into the corner.  Yamamura sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a solid left hook.

Yamamura is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Yamamura lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS MACHIDA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Machida has now recovered from that shot earlier.
