Mark Yelton vs Jonathan Sorden

Boxing Daily Report from the Kronk Gym II promoted show at Detroit Havard, Detroit,  taking place on 06/06/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Michigan Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Yelton (20 - 23(2) - 6) who hails from Detroit, USA and Jonathan Sorden(23 - 15(4) - 4) from Grand Rapids, USA.  Both Yelton and Sorden weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jasper Mudie, and the three ringside judges are Inigo McGrath, Jasper Mudie and Mike Devin.  

Round 1: 

Yelton tries to step out of his opponents range.  Sorden sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Yelton hits home with a cross.  
Sorden is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook.  
Sorden forces Yelton to back into the corner.  Yelton is on target with a right uppercut.  
Yelton advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Yelton quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Sorden tries to land a jab, but Yelton blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sorden pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Yelton closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Yelton gets on the inside.  Sorden pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Yelton's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Sorden's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Yelton closes the distance.  Yelton sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a right hook into Sorden's body.  
Yelton closes the distance.  Yelton quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a left hook into Sorden's body.  
Yelton sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Sorden hits home with a cross.  
Sorden switches the action to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Yelton steps inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Sorden has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.

Sorden lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Sorden is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
