Rogelio Rincon vs Nicandro Romo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Anzoategui promoted show at Baltasar Bargas Gym, Barcelona,  taking place on 07/06/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Venezuela-Anzoategui Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rogelio Rincon (9 - 2) who hails from Barcelona, Venezuela and Nicandro Romo(5(3) - 2) from Barcelona, Venezuela.  Both Rincon and Romo weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Celeste, and the three ringside judges are Xaverius Estremera, Angel Espana and Rafael Garcia.  

Round 1: 

Rincon is on target with a left hook to Romo's body.  
Romo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Rincon quickly recovers. 
Rincon is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Rincon sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Rincon advances into close range and manouvers Romo onto the ropes.  Romo is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Romo steps inside.  Rincon drives a sharp left hook into his opponents liver.  
Romo backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Rincon accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Romo.  
Romo closes the distance and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Rincon throws a right hook, but Romo ties up his opponent.  Rincon pushes his forearm into Romo's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Romo is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a solid cross.  
Romo steps inside and hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Rincon advances into close range.  Romo lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  Romo holds on to his opponent.  Romo pushes his forearm into Rincon's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Romo.  
Romo closes the distance.  Rincon tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a CRUSHING left hook.  RINCON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Rincon quickly recovers. 
Rincon pivots to the side of his opponent.  Romo lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS RINCON TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Romo steps to the outside.  Romo knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Romo lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a cross to the head.  He then lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  Rincon now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Rincon hits home with an overhand right.  
Romo closes the distance.  Rincon lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Romo ties up his opponent.  Rincon leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Romo is on target with a firm right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Rincon's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Rincon's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Romo connects with a right uppercut.  Romo throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Romo's body.  
Romo lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Rincon recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Romo lands a stinging right uppercut.  
Romo gets on the inside and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Romo lands a hard jab.  
Romo advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  
Romo drives a sharp left hook into Rincon's body.  
Rincon digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Romo throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Romo holds on to his opponent.  Romo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Romo is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Romo advances into close range and connects with a solid right hook.  
Romo digs in a firm right hook to Rincon's body.

Rincon tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a cross.

Romo gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Romo senses Rincon is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Romo lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS RINCON SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 9.  
Romo DETONATES a HUGE right hook on his opponents face.  RINCON IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  
Romo lands a right hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND SENDS RINCON SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Rincon can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Romo!
