Anthony Ryan vs Paul Barella

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Thistle Hotel, Glasgow,  taking place on 19/05/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Anthony Ryan (2(2) - 0) who hails from Cork, Ireland and Paul Barella(1 - 5 - 4) from London, UK.  Ryan weighed in at 129 pounds and 14 ounces, while Barella weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Hall, and the three ringside judges are Peter Cullen, Hamish McBeth and Robert Priddy.  

Round 1: 

Ryan steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Ryan holds on to his opponent.  Ryan pushes his forearm into Barella's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ryan about fouling.

Ryan lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Ryan drives a solid right hook into his opponents ribcage.  Ryan holds on to his opponent.  Ryan leans on his opponent using all his weight. Ryan uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Barella behind the head. 
Ryan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Ryan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ryan is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Ryan clinches his opponent.  Ryan leans on his opponent using all his weight. Ryan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Barella behind the head.

Ryan drives a stinging right hook into Barella's ribcage.

Ryan steps inside and crashes a mean left hook to Barella's ribs.  BARELLA IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Ryan hits home with a left hook.  Ryan ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ryan whips in a hurtful right uppercut to Barella's ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE BARELLA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Ryan clinches his opponent.  Ryan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ryan senses Barella is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Ryan lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND BARELLA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Barella has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
