Charlie Lennie vs Glynn Leon

Boxing Daily Report from the FightArama promoted show at Cowles Stadium, Christchurch,  taking place on 21/06/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Charlie Lennie (3 - 0) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Glynn Leon(3 - 1) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Lennie weighed in at 238 pounds and 2 ounces, while Leon weighed in at 252 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dave Sprouse, and the three ringside judges are Joshua Dallis, Stephen Suite and Ewan Roxburgh.  

Round 1: 

Leon hits home with an overhand left.  
Lennie sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Lennie gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Lennie lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Lennie steps to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Lennie closes the distance and throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Lennie ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Lennie pushes his forearm into Leon's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Lennie to stop fouling.  
Lennie sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Lennie lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Leon has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Leon switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Lennie advances into close range and walks Leon down, trapping him in a corner.  Lennie sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Lennie lands a left hook to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  Lennie ties up his opponent.  Lennie leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Lennie's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lennie lands a right hook.  
Leon throws a left hook, but Lennie clinches his opponent.  Lennie is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Lennie lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  As Leon tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lennie dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Lennie pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Lennie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Lennie gets on the inside.  Lennie sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lennie gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  Lennie tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Lennie connects with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Leon's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Leon's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Leon's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Lennie switches the action to the outside.  Lennie stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Leon is on target with a jab to Lennie's body.  
Lennie steps inside and lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Leon attempts to land a jab, but Lennie blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Leon attempts to land a left uppercut, but Lennie sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Lennie pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Lennie advances into close range.  Lennie pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Lennie manouvers Leon onto the ropes.  Lennie connects with a right uppercut.  
Lennie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Lennie is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Lennie sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross to the head, a cross to the body and an overhand right to the head.  
Lennie steps inside and lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Lennie lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Leon steps to the outside.  Lennie feints a right hook, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.
