Aaron Garey vs Patrick Hogg

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Saskatchewan promoted show at Brad Gaw Gym, Saskatoon,  taking place on 17/06/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Saskatchewan Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aaron Garey (6 - 6(2)) who hails from Regina, Canada and Patrick Hogg(7 - 18(2) - 4) from Saskatoon, Canada.  Both Garey and Hogg weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vincent Buchan, and the three ringside judges are Chris Cattell, Bob Tweed and Johnny Neilson.  

Round 1: 

Hogg sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Hogg throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Hogg attempts to land a jab, but Garey sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Garey is looking to close the distance.  As Hogg tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Garey dabs at his face checking for damage.  Garey has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused bad swelling  around the left eye.
