James Lorimer vs Mark Gwynn

Boxing Daily Report from the Skol Promotions promoted show at Papatoetoe Cosmopolitan Club, Auckland,  taking place on 18/06/2042:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are James Lorimer (16(4) - 5(2)) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Mark Gwynn(11 - 8(4) - 3) from Hamilton, New Zealand.  Both Lorimer and Gwynn weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Corey Hopper, and the three ringside judges are Cody Master, George Brain and Robert Lowden.

Lorimer is looking to keep his distance and drives a solid cross into his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE GWYNN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Gwynn almost instantly recovers. 
Gwynn closes the distance.  Lorimer digs in a firm right hook to Gwynn's body.  
Lorimer hits the target with a solid jab.  
Gwynn forces Lorimer to back into the red corner.  Gwynn throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Lorimer is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Gwynn forces Lorimer to retreat into the corner.  Gwynn throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Gwynn is looking to close the distance.  Lorimer lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Gwynn connects with a cross.  
Gwynn steps inside.  Lorimer senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Gwynn and just needs the right shot.  Lorimer lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES GWYNN!  He manages to get up at 7.  
Lorimer lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, KNOCKING GWYNN DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Gwynn advances into close range.  Lorimer drives a weighty left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  DOWN GOES GWYNN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.

He then lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body, KNOCKING GWYNN DOWN!  The ref does not give Gwynn the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Lorimer!
