Tim Hughes vs Lewis Nickson

Boxing Daily Report from the L2LBoxingPromotions promoted show at Saad Shaikh Gym, Cardiff,  taking place on 22/06/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Wales Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tim Hughes (5 - 4(1)) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Lewis Nickson(5 - 2 - 1) from Cardiff, UK.  Hughes weighed in at 114 pounds and 3 ounces, while Nickson weighed in at 114 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Edwyn Brodie, and the three ringside judges are Gethin Kerrigan, Clinton Birney and Mark MacNevin.  

Round 1: 

Hughes is on target with a cross.

Nickson is looking to close the distance.  Hughes wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Nickson dabs at his face checking for damage.
