Oliver Belen vs Johnny Gomez

Boxing Daily Report from the Phiri Promotions promoted show at Silang Rivera, Silang,  taking place on 01/07/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Cavite Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Oliver Belen (1 - 4 - 2) who hails from Bacoor, Philippines and Johnny Gomez(2 - 6) from Bacoor, Philippines.  Belen weighed in at 147 pounds, while Gomez weighed in at 147 pounds And 13 ounces.    As Gomez came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Mieras, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Taguinod, Neil Lovato and David Verdejo.
