Frisco Mederos vs Santiago Trigueros

Boxing Daily Report from the Brodie Promotions promoted show at Asuncion Cordoba, Asuncion,  taking place on 30/06/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Paraguay-Asuncion Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Frisco Mederos (6 - 5 - 4) who hails from Asuncion, Paraguay and Santiago Trigueros(10 - 13(1) - 1) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  Both Mederos and Trigueros weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Guillermo Rolando, and the three ringside judges are Eduardo Lugar, Montel Requena and Joaquin Rivero.  

Round 1: 

Mederos steps away from his opponent.  Trigueros attempts to land a jab, but Mederos blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to Trigueros's ribs.  
Trigueros connects with a cross.

Trigueros is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Trigueros clinches his opponent.  Trigueros is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Trigueros and breaks the clinch.  
Mederos lands a left uppercut.  
Trigueros pivots to the left of his opponent.  Mederos is on target with a right uppercut.  
Trigueros tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Trigueros gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Trigueros connects with a left uppercut.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mederos dabs at his face checking for damage.

Trigueros manages to force Mederos into a neutral corner.  Mederos lands a left hook.  
Trigueros pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Trigueros drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Trigueros steps inside.  Trigueros lands a right hook.  As Mederos tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Trigueros dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Trigueros.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Mederos lands a cross.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Trigueros dabs at his face checking for damage.  Trigueros has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
