Duncan Mutch vs Jasper Bautista

Boxing Daily Report from the Fernando Hearn promoted show at Hialeah Samson, Hialeah,  taking place on 06/07/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Florida Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Duncan Mutch (24(22) - 3) who hails from Pembroke Pines, USA and Jasper Bautista(22 - 22(5) - 8) from Coral Springs, USA.  Both Mutch and Bautista weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Molina, and the three ringside judges are Glynn Mescall, Cole Ghant and Chris Sprout.  

Round 1: 

Mutch lands a stiff jab.  
Mutch quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Bautista steps inside.  Mutch lands a firm right hook.  
Bautista walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Bautista pivots to the left of his opponent.  Mutch is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Bautista quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Bautista advances into close range.  Mutch crashes a hurtful right hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE BAUTISTA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Mutch clinches his opponent.  Mutch leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Mutch is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Mutch's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Bautista almost instantly recovers. 
Bautista manages to force Mutch onto the ropes.  Mutch is on target with a right hook.  
Mutch hits home with a left hook.  
Mutch lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Bautista walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mutch lands with a hard jab.  
Bautista closes the distance and throws a right hook, but Mutch clinches his opponent.  Mutch uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Bautista behind the head. Mutch pushes his forearm into Bautista's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mutch tries to keep the action at long range.  Mutch sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands an overhand left to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Mutch finds the target with a jab.  Mutch throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Mutch connects with a firm right hook.  
Mutch tries to keep the action at long range and connects with an overhand left.  
Mutch connects with a sharp cross.  
Mutch lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Mutch is looking to keep his distance and throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Bautista closes the distance.  Mutch hits home with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bautista's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Bautista's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Bautista advances into close range.  Mutch drives a sharp left hook into his opponents liver.  Mutch ties up his opponent.  Mutch pushes his forearm into Bautista's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mutch about fouling.  
Bautista is looking to close the distance.  Mutch lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mutch tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Mutch switches the action to the outside and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Bautista attempts to land a cross, but Mutch slips the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut to Bautista's body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Mutch's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Bautista's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Bautista steps inside.  Mutch is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  Mutch holds on to his opponent.  Mutch leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Bautista closes the distance.  Bautista wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mutch dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Mutch connects with a FIERCE cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE BAUTISTA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Mutch thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Bautista away.  Mutch lands a nasty right uppercut.  BAUTISTA IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  
Mutch lands a hurtful cross.  BAUTISTA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  
Mutch switches the action to the outside.  Mutch lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS BAUTISTA TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Bautista is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Mutch!
