Jake Day vs Edward Halloran

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Plunder Gym, Glasgow,  taking place on 29/06/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jake Day (4(3) - 0) who hails from Oklahoma City, USA and Edward Halloran(5 - 10 - 3) from Birmingham, UK.  Both Day and Halloran weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Andy Jones, and the three ringside judges are Bruce McBeth, David McClarnon and Alan Donovan.  

Round 1: 

Day closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Day ties up his opponent.  Day pushes his forearm into Halloran's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Day lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Day ties up his opponent.  Day is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Day feints a right hook, and then connects with a solid cross.

Halloran steps to the outside.  Day lands a jab.  
Day advances into close range.  Day pivots to the left of his opponent.  Day is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Day tries to land a left hook, but Halloran parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Day is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Day hits home with a solid left hook.  
Day lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Day steps inside and lands a FIERCE left hook.  HALLORAN IS HURT!  
Day is on target with a right hook to Halloran's body.  Halloran now seems to have his senses back.  
Day is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Day gets on the inside and is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Day digs in a solid right hook to Halloran's body.  
Day gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Halloran recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Day lands a cross to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a jab to the head.  
Day closes the distance and crashes a mean left hook to his opponents body.  HALLORAN IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.

Day steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Day manouvers Halloran into a neutral corner.  Day lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.
