Berto Gomez vs Angel Diaz

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Club Waikiki, Lima,  taking place on 18/07/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Peru Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Berto Gomez (25(6) - 7 - 3) who hails from Huacho, Peru and Angel Diaz(15 - 3(1)) from Lima, Peru.  Gomez weighed in at 104 pounds, while Diaz weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nicandro Quijas, and the three ringside judges are Eloy Sanz, Seferino Ozuna and Macario Chaparro.
