Billy Cheng vs Yasin Zaki

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Plunder K L, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 08/07/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Billy Cheng (1(1) - 0) who hails from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia and Yasin Zaki(8 - 16 - 5) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Cheng weighed in at 118 pounds, while Zaki weighed in at 118 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ibrahim Mohammed, and the three ringside judges are Syed Kamel, Zuffur Haq and Adnan Wasti.  

Round 1:

Cheng knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Cheng lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body, AND ZAKI IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Zaki now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Zaki steps inside.  Cheng throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Cheng ties up his opponent.  Cheng is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Cheng uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Zaki behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cheng is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Zaki recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Cheng drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  
Cheng steps inside and is on target with a stinging left hook to Zaki's ribs.  
Cheng steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Zaki attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Cheng time to recover.  
Cheng lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Zaki is looking to close the distance.  Cheng is on target with a potent left uppercut to Zaki's liver.  ZAKI WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Cheng is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Cheng lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS ZAKI TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Cheng whips in a spiteful left uppercut to Zaki's body.  ZAKI IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Cheng is looking to close the distance.  Cheng crashes a big left hook to his opponents body.  ZAKI IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  Zaki now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Cheng forces Zaki to retreat into the blue corner.  Cheng throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Cheng clinches his opponent.  Cheng is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Cheng's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Zaki's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Zaki's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Cheng crashes a nasty right hook to his opponents ribs.  ZAKI IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Cheng holds on to his opponent.  Cheng leans on his opponent using all his weight. Cheng pushes his forearm into Zaki's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cheng throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Cheng holds on to his opponent.  Cheng is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Cheng tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Zaki's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Cheng to stop holding.  
Cheng lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Cheng holds on to his opponent.  Cheng leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cheng thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Zaki away.  Cheng lands a HUGE right uppercut.  DOWN GOES ZAKI!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Cheng!
