Johnny Gallagher vs Jack MacCarthy

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-New York State promoted show at Mulroy Civic Center Carrier Theater, Syracuse,  taking place on 20/07/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-New York State Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Johnny Gallagher (21 - 29(7) - 3) who hails from New York City, USA and Jack MacCarthy(35(13) - 8(2)) from New York City, USA.  Gallagher weighed in at 134 pounds and 11 ounces, while MacCarthy weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Hardie, and the three ringside judges are Rob Abbey, Mick Cohran and Mark Hughes.  

Round 1: 

MacCarthy gets on the inside.  MacCarthy pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
MacCarthy gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to Gallagher's body.  
Gallagher hits home with a cross.  
MacCarthy lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
MacCarthy pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a stinging left uppercut.  
MacCarthy is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Gallagher closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but MacCarthy holds on to his opponent.  MacCarthy is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns MacCarthy to stop fouling.  
MacCarthy steps to the outside.  Gallagher lands a cross.  
MacCarthy lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
MacCarthy is on target with a left hook.  MacCarthy ties up his opponent.  MacCarthy tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Gallagher's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures MacCarthy about fouling.

MacCarthy walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  MacCarthy lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Gallagher's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Gallagher's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Gallagher's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.
