John MacNeill vs Robert Morris

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Central England promoted show at Ron MacAdams Gym, Manchester,  taking place on 23/07/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British-Central England Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John MacNeill (10 - 6(1) - 1) who hails from Coventry, UK and Robert The Road Warrior Morris(29(6) - 12(7)) from Liverpool, UK.  Both MacNeill and Morris weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Lewis, and the three ringside judges are Robert Llewellyn, Andy Dudgeon and Paul Murphy.  

Round 1: 

Morris closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Morris walks MacNeill into the corner.  Morris lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  MacNeill wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Morris dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Morris throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Morris holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Morris pushes his forearm into MacNeill's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Morris about fouling.  
Morris lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.

Morris drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Morris clinches his opponent.  Morris throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Morris.

MacNeill is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
