Mats Bode vs Filip Meyer

Boxing Daily Report from the Ghost Promotion promoted show at Copenhagen Friedrichsen, Copenhagen,  taking place on 26/07/2042:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Denmark-Region Hovedstaden Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mats Bode (9 - 13) who hails from Copenhagen, Denmark and Filip Meyer(11(7) - 2) from Copenhagen, Denmark.  Bode weighed in at 135 pounds and 8 ounces, while Meyer weighed in at 135 pounds.    As Bode came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.  
The referee tonight is Niels Borum, and the three ringside judges are Steinar Winberg, Ludvig Lunn and Viggo Andreassen.  

Round 1: 

Meyer steps away from his opponent and hits home with a stinging overhand right.  
Meyer pivots to the side of his opponent.  Bode throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid left hook to his opponents body.

Meyer is on target with a left hook to Bode's ribs.  
Meyer gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Meyer steps inside and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Meyer tries to keep the action at long range and SLAMS a mean overhand left into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE BODE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Bode could be stopped here, if Meyer can find the right shot!  Meyer lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS BODE TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Bode now seems to have got his legs back.  
Meyer gets on the inside and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Meyer SLAMS a FEROCIOUS cross into his opponents face.  BODE IS DOWN!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Meyer!
