Joshua Mullen vs Gregor Adair

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at American Airlines Arena, Miami,  taking place on 26/07/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Joshua Mullen (1 - 0) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Gregor Adair(2 - 0) from Chandler, USA.  Both Mullen and Adair weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Hanlin, and the three ringside judges are Rob Quigg, Inigo Poyner and Vicente Castillon.  

Round 1: 

Mullen advances into close range.  Adair throws a left hook, but Mullen holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Mullen pushes his forearm into Adair's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mullen.  
Mullen lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Mullen holds on to his opponent.  Mullen is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mullen gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Mullen clinches his opponent.  Mullen leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mullen gets on the inside and hits home with a firm left uppercut.  Mullen holds on to his opponent.  Mullen leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Mullen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Adair sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Adair throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mullen lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Mullen holds on to his opponent.  Mullen uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Adair's kidney. 
Mullen lands a cross.  
Adair quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mullen lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Mullen is on target with a cross.  
Mullen steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Mullen hits home with a left uppercut.  
Mullen lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Mullen is looking to close the distance.  Adair quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mullen is on target with a right uppercut.  Mullen ties up his opponent.  Mullen leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mullen lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mullen lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Mullen lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Adair pivots to the left of his opponent.  Adair attempts to land a jab, but Mullen slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Mullen forces Adair to back into the ropes.  Mullen lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Mullen lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Mullen throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Mullen clinches his opponent.  Mullen tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Adair's kidney. The referee warns Mullen and breaks the clinch.

Adair throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mullen closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Mullen clinches his opponent.  Mullen tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Adair behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mullen to stop holding.

Mullen forces Adair to retreat onto the ropes.  Mullen lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Mullen holds on to his opponent.  Mullen uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Adair's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mullen about fouling.  
Mullen lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Mullen lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Mullen lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Mullen is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.

Mullen steps inside and slams a hurtful left hook into Adair's body.  ADAIR IS HURT!  Adair almost instantly recovers.

Adair is looking to keep his distance.  Mullen connects with an overhand right.  
Mullen advances into close range.  Mullen is on target with a firm left hook to Adair's body.  Mullen clinches his opponent.  Mullen is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Mullen to stop holding.  Mullen wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Adair dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Mullen lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Mullen sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.  ADAIR WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
The right shot from Mullen could be enough to force the stoppage!  Mullen lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND SENDS ADAIR TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  It looks like Adair has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Mullen advances into close range and drives a potent left uppercut into his opponents body.  ADAIR IS HURT!  
Mullen is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Mullen whips in a mean left uppercut to Adair's body.  ADAIR HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE COUNT REACHES 10, BUT ADAIR IS UNABLE TO GET UP!  The winner by KO is Mullen!
