Boxing Daily Report from the Kiwi Boxing Academy promoted show at Simasiku Gym, Auckland,  taking place on 30/07/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Oceania Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hanu Poihipi (24(11) - 2(1)) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Owen Hakopyan(24(12) - 4(2)) from Adelaide, Australia.  Both Poihipi and Hakopyan weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brendan Waterson, and the three ringside judges are Tua Patariki, Clinton Crail and Chris Booth.  

Round 1: 

Hakopyan steps inside and connects with a solid right uppercut.  Hakopyan throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
