Jair Abad vs Enzo Asuncion

Boxing Daily Report from the Victor Bravo promoted show at Ponce Pablo, Ponce,  taking place on 30/07/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Puerto Rico-Ponce Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jair Abad (9 - 13(2) - 1) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Enzo Asuncion(9 - 14(5) - 5) from Ponce, Puerto Rico.  Abad weighed in at 130 pounds, while Asuncion weighed in at 130 pounds And 8 ounces.    As Asuncion came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Nicandro Martinez, and the three ringside judges are Ramiro Moyano, Lorenzo Capo and Vegas Baquero.  

Round 1: 

Abad sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Abad tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Asuncion quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Abad lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Abad is looking to close the distance.  Abad sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Asuncion lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
