Serhat Guven vs Alp Tanju

Boxing Daily Report from the Jumbo Promotions promoted show at Ankara Akbay, Ankara,  taking place on 03/08/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey-Ankara Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Serhat Guven (3 - 6 - 3) who hails from Ankara, Turkey and Alp Tanju(3 - 3 - 1) from Ankara, Turkey.  Guven weighed in at 235 pounds and 8 ounces, while Tanju weighed in at 225 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cumhur Goktuna, and the three ringside judges are Batur Atli, Mehmet Halefoglu and Erdem Cetinaslan.

Round 2: 

Guven steps inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tanju dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Tanju throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Guven to the neutral corner.  He warns Tanju that continued fouling will result in a point deduction.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Tanju's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Tanju closes the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Tanju has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
